ALBANY, NY — With voting now underway across New York, the Association of New York State Young Republican Clubs (NYSYR) is announcing its list of endorsed candidates and targeted districts for the 2024 election cycle. These endorsements are largely exclusive to candidates who are Young Republicans (those ages 18 to 40) and now make them eligible to access resources including digital services and boots-on-the-ground support.
The NYSYR represents more than 50 county- and campus-based chapters comprising more than 2,500 registered members statewide. It is a diverse coalition of professional operatives, public servants, elected officials, business leaders, young professionals, and students working to recruit, train, and elect a new generation of Republicans across New York.

Earlier this year, the NYSYR passed a resolution endorsing President Donald J. Trump for re-election. NYSYR Chairman Peter Giunta attended the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, WI, as an At-Large Alternate Delegate for New York, leading a delegation of Young Republicans to the convention as Delegates, Alternates, and guests.
In addition to these endorsements, the NYSYR is also launching targeted operations in NY-1 (LaLota), NY-17 (Lawler), NY-18 (Esposito), NY-19 (Molinaro), NY-20 (Waltz), and NY-22 (Williams). These operations include canvassing, phonebanking, and other methods of direct voter contact.
“It’s because of the disastrous policies of Kathy Hochul, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris that young people are turning to the Republican Party for change, and it’s why we continue to experience growth as we work to build a new generation of Republican leadership in New York. In just the past three years, our efforts have helped elect more than 120 Young Republicans to office, along with dozens of other Republican candidates,” said Giunta. “Our future is on the ballot this November and these endorsed candidates will carry our standard into this once-in-a-generation opportunity to bring New York back and save America!”
